Challenge
Project Goals
MatchMaker was designed to transform a traditional live matchmaking event into an engaging digital experience. While attendees could participate in person, there was no centralized platform for users to explore contestants, stay informed throughout the competition, or actively engage with the event beyond the live experience.
The challenge was creating a mobile-first platform that made voting simple and intuitive while encouraging users to remain engaged through exclusive content, updates, and community-driven interactions.
The primary goal was to create a seamless digital experience that extended engagement beyond the live event and encouraged ongoing participation.
Key objectives included:
- Create an intuitive voting experience that minimized friction.
-Improve contestant discoverability through clear navigation and content organization.
- Increase user engagement through polls, exclusive content, and event updates.
- Design a mobile-first experience optimized for on-the-go participation.
- Establish a scalable foundation that could support future platform growth and additional features.
Process
Collaborated closely with stakeholders and developers to define platform requirements, user flows, and feature priorities.
Beginning with wireframes and information architecture, I focused on creating a streamlined experience that guided users naturally from discovery to vote submission.
